Live Sound Overview

 Live sound is one of the fastest growing areas in the field of music technology and sound engineering. This exciting one or two year course is very hands-on and will focus on what it takes to be a success in the field of live sound and PA. Based at dBs and at various venues throughout Plymouth, you will be using the best equipment available due to sponsorship deals we have with Midas and Martin Audio.The course will be taught by industry specialists with years of experience engineering the biggest gigs around. The HNC is an HE course and as such you would be eligible for all of the financial packages available to other HE students. It is an intensive 1 or 2 year course that runs for 20 hours a week with some of that time being spent on self-led marked projects. At the end of the course you will have achieved the nationally recognised BTEC Higher National Certificate (or Diploma for 2 years) in Music Production (Live Sound). Completion of this course could take you on to the third year of a relevant degree course. ...Back to previous page |
