Depending on your previous experience you will be given the opportunity to take one or more industry standard Digidesign Pro Tools courses. Taken together these courses can normally cost upto £1500, but at dBs we are giving them away for free.

In your second year at dBs you will be given the opportunity to take an industry standard Digidesign Pro Tools course. This course normally costs upto £350 but at dBs we are giving it away for free.

This is a writing workhorse, preferred by many song writers and composers because of it's score writing facilities and vast array of virtual instruments. Currently the best value professional software on the market.

Pro Tools
We are a certified training location for Digidesign. This means that students can train to attain an industry recognised qualification. Pro Tools is the industry standard digital audio workstation for high-end music studios and post-production houses.

Cubase
Cubase is a great platform for electronic and dance music. Easy to use and featuring a large array of built-in effects and virtual synthesisers. Excellent for complex MIDI editing and patching.

Reason
A virtual rack of instruments, combined with an excellent MIDI sequencer. It's work-flow makes automating parameters of the virtual instruments extremely easy and it's great for complex synthesis and also for general electronic music production.
