 In short the experiences you will receive here are somewhat different to a conventional sound engineering college. The courses are based in a professional recording studio complex in the centre of Plymouth.The complex houses a commercial recording studio alongside the educational facilities. The studio does a variety of work from radio and TV to recording local and national artists. From recordings with Joss Stone and some top producers to voice overs with Little Britain to a soundtrack for the opening of the Commonwealth Games in Manchester. We also run a production house developing artists to a commercially releasable standard. We hope that all of this gives students a real-world perspective to compliment their academic study. This is an adult training environment associated with a professional recording facility and production company. The equipment is well maintained and bang up to date and you will be using the latest software available. Finally we hope you have serious fun whilst attending a course at the institute.
