FdA Sound & Music Technology This flagship degree course is run by the University of Plymouth and Estover College at the dBs facility. This is one of the best equipped and staffed music tech & sound engineering programmes in the country and we only accept the highest calibre of student onto this course. Dedication and commitment are paramount. FdA Degree in Sound & Music Technology Creative Sound Eng & Music Tech This two year modular Diploma programme is run by City College Plymouth at the dBs facility. It is a broad based course covering all aspects of sound engineering & music technology including recording, remixing, film sound, live sound, TV, theatre and radio. Successful students will leave with a BTEC First Certificate and a BTEC National Diploma qualification which is the equivalent of 3 'A' levels. Diploma in Creative Sound Eng & Music Tech HNC in Music Production This brand new one year Higher National Certificate focusses on the technical and creative skills required to become a successful music producer and/or sound engineer. Successful students will be offered the chance to go onto the second year... HNC in Music Production More HNC/HND in Live Sound This unique live sound course is run by City College Plymouth at the dBs facility and at a range of venues across Plymouth. The 1 or 2 year course focusses on developing all of the practical and theoretical skills required for a career in live sound. HNC Live Sound HNC in Music & Sound for Film & TV This brand new one year Higher National Certificate focusses on the technical and creative skills required to record and produce music and sound for TV, film, internet and multimedia. Successful students will be offered the chance to go onto... HNC in Music & Sound for Film & TV More BA Hons For all students who have successfully completed our 2 year FdA course, there is a further top up year option which allows students to walk out with a full BA Hons. This currently takes place at the Unviersity of Plymouth with some access to the equipment at dBs. More
